Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into burger patties.
  • Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • While the patties are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and ketchup to make the sauce.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread the sauce on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the sauce. Add 2 slices of bacon, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Top with the other half of the hamburger bun.
  • Serve the bacon swiss burgers with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
