  • Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  • Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
