Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add 2 black tea bags to the boiling water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves.
  • Simmer the mixture over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Pour the almond chai tea into mugs and serve hot. Enjoy!
