Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add 2 black tea bags to the boiling water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves.
- Simmer the mixture over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the almond chai tea into mugs and serve hot. Enjoy!
