Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 pounds of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies), crushed
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (14-ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in 1 pound of the sliced strawberries into the whipped cream mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with 1/2 cup of melted butter until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of the whipped cream mixture.
- To assemble the cake, spread a thin layer of the sweetened condensed milk mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish.
- Place a layer of Oreo cookie mixture on top of the sweetened condensed milk layer.
- Spread half of the remaining whipped cream and strawberry mixture over the Oreo layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining Oreo mixture and whipped cream and strawberry mixture.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the cake to set.
- Before serving, top the cake with the remaining 1/2 pound of sliced strawberries.
