Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 16 oz white chocolate candy coating
Instructions
- Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions. Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs.
- Add the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cake crumbs. Mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Place the sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate candy coating in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off, and place them back on the lined baking sheet to set.
- Once all the cake balls are coated, refrigerate them for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
