Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Rinse the beef liver under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the liver into small pieces.
  • In a food processor, blend the liver until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • In a large bowl, mix the liver paste, whole wheat flour, egg, and olive oil until well combined.
  • Roll out the mixture on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes or simply cut the dough into small squares.
  • Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the treats are firm and crispy.
  • Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
