- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 avocado, sliced
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of diced onion, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the turkey burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a turkey patty, a slice of tomato, avocado slices, and 2 slices of bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
