Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of honey and 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard to make the honey mustard sauce. Set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Brush the honey mustard sauce on both sides of the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
  • While the chicken is grilling, cook the bacon in a separate skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster oven until lightly golden.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing a grilled chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun. Top with 2 slices of bacon and a few slices of avocado. Drizzle with additional honey mustard sauce if desired. Place the top half of the bun on top.
  • Serve the sandwiches immediately and enjoy!
