Today, the best versions of this dessert can be found in specialty Japanese patisseries around the world, where skilled bakers craft this indulgent treat with precision and care. For those attempting to make it at home, sourcing high-quality matcha is crucial to achieving the authentic flavor profile of this beloved dessert.
