Instructions

  • Bake the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Let it cool completely.
  • Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting and mix until well combined.
  • Roll the cake mixture into 24 football-shaped balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Melt the chocolate candy melts according to the package instructions. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into a cake ball. Repeat for all cake balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, tapping off any excess. Place them back on the parchment paper to set.
