Ingredients

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, mix 2/3 cup of milk, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined to form a soft dough.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 1/2-inch thickness and cut into 1-inch wide strips.
- In a large pot, heat 4 cups of vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Carefully fry the dough strips in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to make the chocolate glaze.
- Dip each donut stick into the chocolate glaze, allowing any excess to drip off, then place on a wire rack to set.
