Instructions

  • Preheat a panini press or a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of mustard on one half of the Cuban bread, then layer with 2 slices of ham, 4 slices of roasted pork, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, and 4 pickle slices. Close the sandwich with the other half of the Cuban bread.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outside of the top half of the sandwich and place it in the preheated panini press or skillet, buttered side down.
  • Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the outside of the bottom half of the sandwich and close the press or place a heavy skillet on top to press the sandwich down.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the sandwich from the press or skillet, cut in half, and serve hot.
