Instructions

  • Place the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese until well blended.
  • Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for 15 minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled cookie ball into the melted chocolate, making sure it is completely coated. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment paper.
  • If desired, sprinkle the truffles with decorations while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Once the chocolate is set, the cookie truffles are ready to be served. Enjoy!
