- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked spaghetti
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef, onions, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink and the onions are tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cocoa powder, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- To serve, place a serving of cooked spaghetti in a bowl, ladle the chili over the spaghetti, and top with a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese.
