  • In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir in the beaten eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon to create the cinnamon swirl mixture.
  • Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top, and then sprinkle the remaining cinnamon swirl mixture over the top.
  • Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
