Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 6 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 chamomile tea bags
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Open the chamomile tea bags and sprinkle the chamomile leaves over the peaches. Toss gently to combine and let sit for 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, sliced almonds, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the peach mixture to a 9x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the top of the peaches.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy the chamomile peach crisp warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
