Ingredients
- 4 bananas
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the campfire to medium heat.
- Leaving the peel on, slice each banana lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- Place each banana on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap the banana.
- Stuff each banana with 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips, 1 tablespoon of mini marshmallows, and 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts if using.
- Wrap the bananas in the foil, making sure they are completely sealed.
- Place the foil-wrapped bananas on the campfire grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chocolate and marshmallows are melted and the bananas are soft.
- Carefully remove the foil-wrapped bananas from the campfire and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Unwrap the bananas and enjoy the gooey, chocolatey goodness straight from the peel!
