- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

- 1/4 cup (30g) of cocoa powder, for rolling
Instructions
- In a medium-sized heatproof bowl, place 12 oz (340g) of finely chopped semi-sweet chocolate.
- In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup (120ml) of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 1 minute to soften the chocolate, then gently stir until smooth and well combined.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and the zest of 1 orange to the chocolate mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.
- Using a small cookie scoop or a teaspoon, portion the chocolate mixture and roll it into 1-inch balls. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all the truffles are rolled, place the cocoa powder in a shallow dish. Roll each truffle in the cocoa powder until evenly coated.
