Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
- Place the bacon slices on the grill and cook until crispy, then set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
- Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of grilling, place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- While the burgers are grilling, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly golden.
- In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and mayonnaise together to create the BBQ mayo sauce.
- To assemble the burgers, spread the BBQ mayo sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese, 2 slices of bacon, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of red onion. Top with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the extra cheese BBQ bacon burgers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
