Baked Cod with Herbed Butter

Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh chives, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to make the herbed butter.
- Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the herbed butter evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Place a slice of lemon on top of each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the baked cod with herbed butter immediately, and enjoy!
