Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on 2 slices of bread, then top each with 4 slices of cooked bacon.
- Top with the remaining 2 slices of cheddar cheese and the remaining 2 slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the top side of each sandwich.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
