Bacon and Cheese Omelette
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 3 slices of bacon
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook 3 slices of bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Crumble the bacon and set aside.
- In a bowl, beat 3 large eggs until well combined. Stir in the crumbled bacon and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges start to set.
- Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelette and tilt the skillet to allow the uncooked eggs to flow to the edges. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, or until the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top.
- Fold the omelette in half using the spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
