- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground turkey, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup chopped red onion, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the patties are cooking, spread the mashed avocado on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.
- Once the turkey patties are cooked, place them on top of the avocado on the buns.
