Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form them into burger patties.
  • Place the bacon slices on the grill and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and set aside.
  • Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • While the patties are grilling, spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a tomato slice and a few slices of red onion.
  • Once the burger patties are done, transfer them to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, place the hamburger buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast for about 1 minute.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on top of the prepared bottom half of each bun. Top each patty with 1 slice of bacon and a few slices of avocado. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy your delicious avocado bacon burgers!
