Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups of sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of sweetened shredded coconut over the condensed milk layer, followed by 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of sliced almonds, pressing them down gently into the coconut layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the Almond Joy Bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving. Enjoy!
