Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of pesto sauce
- 8 slices of turkey
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, on a clean surface.
- Spread 1/4 cup of pesto sauce on each slice of bread.
- Layer 4 slices of turkey on top of the pesto on each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top of the turkey on each slice of bread.
- Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
