American

The Pastrami Sandwich has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century when Jewish immigrants from Romania brought their traditional pastrami curing and smoking techniques to the United States. This iconic sandwich features thinly sliced, highly seasoned, and smoked beef brisket, typically served on rye bread with mustard. Katz's Delicatessen in New York City is renowned for its classic pastrami sandwich, while Langer's Deli in Los Angeles is also celebrated for its version. The key to a perfect pastrami sandwich lies in the quality of the pastrami, the freshness of the rye bread, and the balance of flavors between the meat and mustard. Whether you're in the bustling streets of New York or the sunny avenues of LA, a well-crafted pastrami sandwich is a must-try for any food enthusiast.
