Ingredients
- 3 slices of white bread
- 3 slices of turkey breast
- 2 slices of cooked bacon
- 2 slices of tomato
- 1 leaf of lettuce
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Lay out the 3 slices of bread on a clean surface.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the turkey slices on the first slice of bread, followed by the lettuce and tomato slices.
- Place the second slice of bread on top of the first, mayonnaise side down.
- Add the bacon slices on top of the second slice of bread.
- Place the third slice of bread on top of the bacon, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwich into quarters diagonally to create four triangular pieces.
- Secure the sandwich quarters with toothpicks to hold the layers together.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the toothpicks and serve the club sandwich immediately.
