The history of this delectable dessert dates back to the early 1920s when the first recipe for S'mores was published in a Girl Scout handbook. The combination of graham crackers, marshmallows, and peanut butter creates a rich and creamy flavor that is beloved by many. Chefs and home cooks alike have put their own spin on this classic, with some adding a drizzle of caramel or a sprinkle of sea salt for an extra burst of flavor. In recent years, this variation has gained popularity in restaurants and dessert shops across the country, with some establishments even offering gourmet versions using artisanal peanut butter and homemade marshmallows.
